FOUNDER & DESIGNER

Golan ROSE

I started designing jewelry in 2013, drawn to the idea of creating pieces that felt less polished and conventional, and more like objects shaped by material, process, and hand.

My approach to design is strongly influenced by brutalist architecture and the Mediterranean environment around me. I’m drawn to rough surfaces, irregular forms, strong textures, and the contrast between something raw and something highly precise.

We work primarily with sterling silver and natural gemstones, often building each design around the tension between the two. The metal is allowed to feel imperfect and worked by hand, while the stones introduce geometry, color, and precision.

All designs begin in our studio in Tel Aviv. Marks and imperfections are created during the process. These details are part of what gives the jewelry its character and makes each piece feel individual.

THE PROCESS

HANDMADE IN TEL AVIV

01 / IDEA

Each design begins with a shape, proportion, texture, or gemstone. I work through the idea until the overall form feels balanced, while allowing the character of the materials to guide the final design.

02 / FORM

The design is translated into 3D and the main structure of the piece takes shape. This is where the proportions, weight, edges, and relationship between the metal and stone are established.

03 / SURFACE

After casting, the silver is worked by hand to create the character of the piece. Depending on the design, surfaces may be beaten, carved, or brushed. I leave certain irregularities and tool marks visible rather than making everything perfectly uniform.

04 / STONE

Natural gemstones are selected and set individually by a trusted local supplier in Tel Aviv. Their precise cuts create a contrast with the rougher surfaces of the silver and often become the focal point of the design.

05 / FINAL FINISH

Every piece is cleaned and inspected before it leaves the studio. Small variations in texture, oxidation, and surface are part of the process, so each finished piece is slightly different.

THE PACKAGING

MADE FROM CONCRETE

The goal is to create packaging that feels connected to the jewelry. Concrete felt like the right material as it's raw, heavy, and naturally imperfect.

01 / MIX

The concrete mixture is prepared to achieve the right balance of strength and texture.

02 / POUR

The concrete is poured into molds that create the shape and grid structure of the box. It is then left to set for more than 24 hours and cure before being removed.

03 / FINISH

Once released from the mold, each box is cleaned and refined by hand. Small air pockets and surface variations are kept as part of the natural character of the concrete.

04 / WRAP

The jewelry is wrapped in a soft fabric cloth, creating a contrast with the hard concrete exterior and protecting the piece inside.

05 / SEAL

The cloth is folded around the jewelry, tied, and finished with a wax seal before being placed inside the concrete box.
